Swapback (the "App") is a macOS menu bar utility that opens apps, folders, and websites you register using keyboard shortcuts, and helps with clipboard history and screenshots. The App runs only on your Mac, and the developer operates no server for the App.
① The App is free to download from the App Store.
② If you downloaded the App by December 15, 2026, you can keep using every feature the App had on that date at no extra cost. This includes, for example, opening apps, folders, and websites with shortcuts and returning to the previous app with the same key, the Dial, site search and in-site search, clipboard history, screenshots, themes, and iCloud sync.
③ If you first download the App after that, you can try the core features free for 7 days.
④ Add-ons: some features newly added on or after December 16, 2026 may be offered as "add-ons" purchased separately from the core features. This paragraph applies equally to users under paragraph ② and to users who purchased the core features.
⑤ "Core features" means all features of the App other than the add-ons in paragraph ④.
⑥ Your registered items and settings are not deleted when a trial ends or if you do not purchase.
① You are not charged during the trial, and you are not charged automatically when it ends.
② Paid features are sold through the Apple App Store. Payment, receipts, and refunds follow Apple's policies and procedures, and the developer has no access to your payment details.
③ Refunds are requested through Apple's Report a Problem page.
④ Purchased features can be used again on any device signed in to the same Apple Account through "Restore Purchases".
⑤ Your right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content may be limited once you start using it; the 7-day free trial serves as your chance to try the App before buying. This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer law. For any issue not resolved through Apple, contact the email in Article 11.
The website-jump feature uses macOS Automation (Apple Events) permission to check and switch Safari tabs. This permission is optional; without it, every other feature works normally. You can revoke it at any time in macOS System Settings.
① The App is a tool that opens targets you choose. You decide which apps, folders, and websites to register and which shortcuts to assign, and you are responsible for the results.
② An assigned shortcut may conflict with macOS or another app. The App blocks known system-reserved combinations but cannot prevent every conflict.
The rights to the App and its design, trademarks, and code belong to the developer. Icons of other apps and websites shown in the App belong to their respective owners and are displayed only to help you recognize the items you registered.
① The developer may improve or change the App's features. Material changes will be noted in the App's update notes.
② The developer may discontinue a specific feature only when unavoidable, such as changes to macOS or Apple policies or security issues. If a purchased feature, or a feature that remains free under Article 2(2), is discontinued for the developer's own reasons, this will be announced in advance and any refund or compensation required by applicable law will apply. Features under Article 2(2) will not be discontinued in order to move them into an add-on.
③ Purchased features, and features that remain free under Article 2(2), can be used without a time limit. This is not a promise to provide future updates, support for new macOS versions, or continued App Store availability indefinitely. Your rights under Article 3(5) are not affected.
④ If the developer ends development or sales of the App, this will be announced on this page, on the App's website, and in the App's update notes at least 30 days in advance. If sales end for reasons that could not be foreseen, it will be announced as soon as the developer learns of it. The App needs no developer server, so it does not stop working when sales end. After sales end, re-downloading may be limited under App Store policies.
The App is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the App. This does not apply to damages caused by the developer's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Consumers retain the rights granted by the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
① Changes to these terms will be posted on this page.
② Changes that are unfavorable to you will be announced on this page and in the App's update notes or on its website at least 30 days before they take effect; other changes at least 7 days before.
③ Corrections that are not unfavorable to you, such as updating business information, may take effect immediately.
